Window on Switzerland
This campaign for BMW came about following a previous campaign I had shot for them on the new 6 Series car. I had somehow ended up shooting the final day in a Series 7 and had commented that it had been like working in a fishbowl. If you have ever been in a 7 Series BMW you will know what I mean. I suggested they should do an homage to Lee Friedlander's Windows on America with this new car. Two months later head office called and away I went travelling with a journalist around Switzerland. The brief was unheard of. Do what you want. So I did.
